When sports are practiced, a lot of oxygen is consumed and the energy is metabolized by working the muscles. These processes create free radicals, lactic acid and a light metabolic acidosis, decreasing the pH.
A proper replacement of liquids helps maintain the hydration and favors both one’s health and physical performance. To favour the correct hydration, we recommend consumption a few hours before the sports activity, as well as during it.
